The sales information above excludes the following sales data: (i) 1 Restaurant which permanently closed during the fiscal year is excluded from the franchise Restaurant group; (ii) 4 Restaurants which do not have drive-thru windows were excluded from the franchise Restaurant group; (iii) 2 Restaurants which transferred from Affiliate to franchise ownership during the year are included under the franchise group; and (iv) 3 franchised Restaurants which were open fewer than 18 months at our fiscal year end. The arithmetic “median” performance was $2,184,706; the highest and lowest performing stores in the data set in terms of unit volume were $4,606,971 and $1,134,633 respectively; 27 Restaurants (40%) met or exceeded the Average Unit Volume figure.
