FARMER BOYS HOSTS FIRST-EVER SCOOP OFF CHALLENGE

Family-Friendly Challenge Celebrating the Strength Needed to Scoop Ice Cream for Farmer Boys Shakes

Riverside, California (July 13, 2026) – Farmer Boys® is inviting guests to put their strength to the test during its first-ever Strong Man Scoop Off Challenge event taking place on Saturday, July 18, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at participating Farmer Boys locations.

Known for its hand-scooped shakes made with premium Thrifty Ice Cream, Farmer Boys is giving guests the opportunity to experience firsthand just how much effort goes into every shake. With any purchase, guests can step up to the scoop station and try to scoop as much Thrifty Ice Cream as possible in 30 seconds. Each participant’s total will be measured and added to an in-store scoreboard, and guests will get to take home the ice cream they scoop.

“Our hand-scooped shakes have become a guest favorite, but most people don’t realize how much effort goes into making each one,” said Mark Hardison, chief marketing officer at Farmer Boys. “The Scoop Off Challenge gives guests a fun, hands-on way to experience that craft for themselves while enjoying a memorable summer moment at their local Farmer Boys.”

The challenge is all in good fun, with participants earning bragging rights, a spot on the in-store scoreboard, and the ice cream they scoop.
